CONSORG BI Studio

A component covering:

• a visual browser of multidimensional OLAP databases with advanced functions,
• MDX query editor together with tools for the creation of the application,
• specialized presentation graphics modules,
• objects making it possible to define parametrized reports.

The starting point for data reporting is the creation of so-called MDX queries by means of a build-in OLAP cube browser. The application enables the creation of:

• dynamic and static report analyses;
• graphic data interpretation;
• advanced desktops combining data tables and graphs;
• automatic data generation mechanisms for Excel workbooks.

Privileges for the structures of data warehouses are configured at the level of OLAP roles. Users see only data to which they will be granted access privileges – from the most general areas, such as cubes, to details, such as the lowest dimension elements.

deskStudio is a standard client application, started locally, therefore it must be installed on the user’s workstation or computer, which is accessed through access desktop.

Basic data input tool. Working with a form, the user can export it to an MS Excel file. An exported form can be filled in manually or with the use of MS Excel formulas and links, and then uploaded to the portal.

A component enabling the creation of simulation applications and budgeting. An addn component enables a bilateral communication between Microsoft Excel sheets and a data warehouse, and it is used for reporting and entering data by means of writeback.
xlStudio is designed for the purposes of creating reports and budgeting forms in Excel spreadsheets based on MDX queries (and other objects) created in a deskStudio application repository, maintaining all the functionalities of Microsoft Excel environment (formats, formulas, functions, graphs etc.).

The solution is perfect for the creation of simulation models, enabling data import, free modelling with the use of the full potential of MS Excel, and then recording and further publishing the data with the use of multidimensional OLAP structures.

xlStudio enables the work in three modes:

• data reading,
• data reading and recording,
• full access, including designing of sheets.

The application is intended for division managers and other participants of the budgeting process responsible for entering data into individual budgets and controlling the implementation of allocated budgets.

A dashboard component made with the use of web technology, working with a multidimensional data model. An application intended for the analysis of data warehouse contents from the level of the Internet browser. The functionalities are accessed through Microsoft Internet Explorer browser.

The tool enables the users to independently create visual reports in the form of interactive tables, graphs, KPI, etc. These reports are fully scalable and parametrizable both for individual and group users. The creation of analytical desktops in webStudio, including data reports, is based on the repository of MDX queries (and other objects) exported from deskStudio level by authorized users.

webStudio application uses privileges configurable into OLAP and its own administration panel (for the management of user groups creating and viewing WWW desktops). This enables full adjustment of data availability (on cubes, dimensions, dimension elements) for web users.

A universal tool for designing and supervising users’ group workflow.

flowStudio enables the automation of business processes of a company by means of a graphic presentation of people’s work at individual stages. With the use of a flexible and ergonomic “drag and drop“ method, the user can plan and design ready information flow systems, taking into account the roles of individual employees in the whole process and specifying intermediate states.

flowStudio enables the users to design and plan various processes, such as working time record, budgets record, schedules, etc. The tool is integrated with the company e-mail, therefore it is possible to inform the process users about tasks and their status by means of e-mail correspondence.

There are 3 types of application users:

Administrator – he/she tracks numerous processes at the same time with the use of a “monitor“. He/she sees the levels of individual processes, observes stages of a given process on a diagram and has access to a module of warning icons informing whether a given process has been started, is in a sleep mode, is faulty or has not been started at all.

Designer – has access to a graphic editor enabling the creation of new process diagrams. Created diagrams are versioned and can be used as a basis for new processes in the future. The diagram enables the use of various types of business tasks, starting from those performed by users themselves as well as automatic ones, performed by IT systems. The designer can freely define the manner of information flow (conditional, sequential, parallel, etc.) and appoint persons responsible for individual tasks and supervising them, and defines processes validating the correctness of task performance.

wordStudio tool is a program expanding the functions of Microsoft Word applications.

Functions of wordStudio application:

• Automation of work related to the creation of repeating publications, using various data sources.
• Marking fragments of Word documents dependent on external data sources, which should be updated at the user’s request.
• The ability to update the following field categories: fragments of texts and tables, whole tables and graphs. Value update changes only texts, retaining the format of a document.
• Easy management and re-editing of inserted fields.

Depending on the source of a component, sources of data may include:

• Excel worksheet,
• SQL queries,
• analytical objects from the Central Repository of Analytical Objects of CONSORG BI Studio platform.

Available wordStudio versions:

• wordStudio for Excel enables only the connection of Excel disk files as data sources.
• wordStudio for SQL expands the Excel version with the possibility of using SQL queries to the database as a source of data with the support of OLEDB data suppliers.

wordStudio, full version additionally enabling the use of BI Studio analytical platform objects available through the centralized object repository, based on the network service model (without the need to store source files on the user’s disks).

• Tworzenie dokumentów dobywa się metodą „przeciągnij i upuść”.
• Dodatkowo aplikacja obsługuje czytniki kodów kreskowych i QR pozwalając na szybsze tworzenie i wypełnianie dokumentów oraz sprawdzanie statusów poszczególnych elementów procesu czy projektu.
